Levi is Four Months

Levi turned 4 months today. He had his four month check up on Monday. He was 13 lbs 5 oz (22%), 25 1/4 inches (67%) and head 41cm (21%). So he is small... whats new? My kids are all small. I thought he was my "big" baby:) My friend walked by my house with her 2 month old and said he just had his check up... he weighed 13lbs 14 oz! Yep a two month old weighs more than my four month old. Levi had a hard time with the shots he got. He had a really bad fever that night and he woke up every hour crying (even with medicine). The poor kid. I guess he just doesn't do well with shots.

So for Levi's fourth month birthday we decided to have an adventure. The bus stops right in front of our house and we have never gone on it. And it is free! Calvin has been asking for a while if we could go on it. So today Calvin packed his bag so we could go on the bus. He had snacks and toys. It was pretty cute. So I had to give in. Calvin and Simon loved the bus. Simon pointed at the bus driver and yelled "he drives the bus!" like it is the most important job in the world! It was pretty cute. Calvin pointed everything out. We just went in one big circle that took us a half an hour and ended up right in front of our house again. Quite the adventure!

Graduation

Bryce had his Utah State graduation ceremony on Friday. My parents and his parents came up. We had lunch and headed up to the Spectrum. Bryce wont be able to attend the graduation ceremony at University of Oregon so this will have to do for both.

Crush on Three!

We had soccer again today. It is fun to see Calvin getting better and better. He has learned how to dribble and he scored two goals today. Simon on the other hand just sits there. It took forever to get Calvin ready today. Calvin was searching for his "long socks." He was crying because he couldn't find them. I couldn't figure out why he wanted his "long socks." He finally said, "I want to look exactly like Uncle Daniel." As soon as I figured out what he was talking about, I searched through my old soccer gear and found him some of my soccer socks and even my shin guards. He was so excited! He ran into the gym yelling to all his teammates "I have shin guards! I have shin guards!" So cute. The whole game he was pulling his socks up and twisting his shin guards around. I didn't know Uncle Daniel had that much of an influence on him :) Another funny story... I am coaching the team of 3 and 4 years olds. At the beginning of the game I got them in a circle to do a cheer for the team. I said to the kids, "Say Crush on Three... One Two Three." and they all yelled "Crush on Three!" Didn't realize I have to think about what I say... Now I say, "Yell Crush" and it works.
