Ogden Temple

We went to the Ogden Temple open house as a family. The boys were actually reverent through most of it :) It is beautiful (definitely an improvement from the old one). Simon gave a talk in primary the next day and took the pictures we have of us in front of the temple. They talked about temples during the sharing time and Simon kept pulling the picture out to show everyone. When they sang "I love to see the Temple" he once again pulled it out and stood in front of the whole primary. Glad we took pictures :)

Sports

We have been trying out some different sports. Of course we have done soccer. Throughout the summer the boys did BMX and Simon and Calvin tried out Karate on Simon's birthday. Calvin has started wakeboarding. He can get up and stay up for a minute. (we dont have any pictures of this because Bryce was driving the boat and I was too excited to take pictures:)

First Day of School

Calvin and Simon had their first days of school. Calvin started first grade and is going to school full time:(. I miss him every day but I don't think he misses me. He loves to be with his friends. So far he loves his teacher Mrs. Miller
Simon  had his first day of Preschool. Simon could have started Kindergarten this year but because his birthday is so late (end of August) Bryce and I decided it would be best to keep him in preschool this year. He loves Mrs. Kaylin.
My little learners are growing up way too fast. But they are fun boys full of energy and ready to learn.

Simon's Fifth Birthday

Simon had his 5th birthday. Boy do we love this kid. He always says and asks things out of the blue. We had a ton of fun on his birthday. We went to lunch at Chick-Fillet and he was surprised with a Karate lesson for both Calvin and him. They loved Karate... not sure we will sign them up but they loved it! We had cake and ice cream that night and one of Simon's friends (Weston) came to help us eat the cake.
Some funny and random things Simon says:
 "Mom, whos mom will you be when I am a dad?"
 "Do I have to have money to be a dad?"
 "What language does Heavenly Father Speak? (ask him why) Because I want to talk to him"
 We love our Simon!

Goblin Valley

This is a picture of the boys before they left for Goblin Valley. I love this picture because I took it and started to walk inside and saw Levi standing at the window. I wondered if he was in the picture. I pulled up the picture and found him perfectly placed and peeking through the window... you can see him right by Bryce's left hand. So cute!

Calvin had his first piano recital the night before they left. He did awesome. He played Ode to Joy and Banana Split.
