Portland Trip Day ONE!

Bryce has been really busy the past couple of weeks. He has had a seven page paper due every week and at least fifty pages to read each day. He has also had classes on Saturday!
This week so far has been heaven because he finally has had a break! We started are little break off with a visit to the gym. A wonderful sister in our ward gave us free passes to her spinning and weight classes. They were awesome and both of us have been hurting ever since!
We then headed up to Portland to check out some of the cool things up there.
Our First day included going to the Childrens Museum, walking along the Columbia River, and going swimming at the hotel.
Bryce loved the Children's Museum... and so did Calvin and Simon.

Bryce and Calvin in the water room.

Simon in the water room. They had little water aprons so they wouldn't get wet. Simon looked so cute in his.

They had a room with a theater in it. Simon sat at the top and cheered for all the little performers.
Calvin LOVED the "Bob the Builder" room as he called it. Grandpa Huff would be proud :)

They had a room for shopping and baking food. Calvin made us a delicious dinner.

Simon waiting for his food.

I don't know how many kids have put these fake fruits and vegetables in their mouths but I couldn't get Simon to stop.

Our little chef.

Bryce checking out groceries from Calvin.

All the boys were in heaven in the truck room.

I love the stuff they put in the truck room... No Sand!!! :) (in Eugene, almost all the playgrounds have sand! It drives me crazy. I take home a sandbox every time we go out!)

This picture is fuzzy but Simon loves to walk.

Calvin yelling to the boats.

The airplanes kept flying over the river. Calvin and Simon were in Awe!

The Columbia River runs in between Porland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington. It is huge and beautiful!
There was a full moon and if you look closely, you can see Mt. Hood in the background. It was one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen!

The Children's Museum looks awesome; I know I went there once with my sister, but I don't remember all the cool rooms! Cute family picture.

I love the pictures! It makes me want to go to the museum so bad, with or without the kids! :)

ahhh, all the pictures are making me homesick for Portland...Scott's parents used to live in Gresham we loved to go play around in Portland. I am glad Bryce finally got a break and you guys could go out and have some much-deserved fun. Those little boys are getting bigger!
