OUR HEROES!!

These are Milo's heroes! Bryce and I had an eventful weekend. Bryce, Calvin and I went to San Fransisco for the weekend to see Laura and Dan (I will post about that later). On Saturday, we went to a little fair at a park near Laura's apartment. While we were eating lunch, we got a phone call from my m0m. She was crying and saying "he is gone! he is gone! Milo is gone!" She was crying and saying Milo choked on a ball and died. I handed the phone to Bryce to calm her down. She was talking to Bryce and then said... hold on I will call you back!

So this is what is going on at home: My mom was throwing a ball to Milo. He came back to her to throw it again and he accidentally swallowed the ball. He was trying to gag the ball up but it wouldn't come. My mom tried to reach inside and pull it out, but he would bite her each time she put her hand in his mouth. She ran inside and screamed for James to come help. James came out and tried to help her. Milo was choking and they couldn't do anything about it. James nelt down on the ground and said a prayer out loud that he would know what to do. He just kept saying it over and over. Milo passed out and layed limp on the ground. James turned to my mom and said "he is dead mom." My mom couldn't watch. She ran inside and called us. She was talking to Bryce when she felt that there was still something they could do. She yelled outside... "try to get the ball out now!" James reached down into Milo's throwt and grabbed onto the ball while using the other hand to push it up from the outside. He pulled the ball out and threw it as far as he could. Milo was still laying limp with his eyes rolled back. James then felt to do mouth to mouth on him. Warren held Milo's mouth shut while James put his mouth over his nose and blew and pushed on his chest. After about ten breaths, Milo's eyes opened. He still was limp though. James carried him out to the car and they went to the vet. The vet said we were so lucky that he was still alive and wasn't blind (their eye sight is the first thing to go).

I just want to say thank you to my family for taking care of Milo. I am thankful they listened to the spirit. Also... Congrats to James for graduating from Brighton High School! Love you!
